Sarah Taylor, CCE


Sarah Taylor, CCE is a multi-award-winning editor with over twenty years of experience.

She has been instrumental in shaping countless Alberta-made narratives, ensuring they reach audiences worldwide. With a proven track record of seeing projects through from conception to completion, Sarah has edited a wide range of documentaries, television programs, shorts, and feature films, many of which have screened at top festivals such as Tribeca, TIFF, and Sundance, and have aired on networks including CBC, BBC, PBS, APTN, and AMI.

Her recent work includes the feature-length documentary THE LEBANESE BURGER MAFIA, which premiered at Hot Docs in 2023, and the feature film HEY VIKTOR!, which debuted at TriBeCa Film Festival the same year.

Beyond film and television, Sarah expanded her storytelling expertise into podcasting in 2018, producing, hosting, and editing interview-based shows such as BRAAAINS and THE EDITOR’S CUT.

After years of collaborating with directors and producers to bring their visions to life, Sarah is now stepping into the role of writer and director, committed to telling her own stories. With a dedication to crafting films that foster connection and understanding, she continues to push boundaries as both a storyteller and a filmmaker.
